Web design & development

Your website is where your story lives in its most complete form.

Every other surface shows a piece of your story. A social post, a business card, a data dashboard. Your website is where all of it comes together. It is the one place where someone can understand who you are, what you do and why it matters, all in one visit.

That is why we build websites that serve the story, not the other way around. We do not start with a template and fill in the gaps. We start with what you need people to understand and we build everything around that.

For the Tennis Hampshire Podcast, we built a site with episode pages, an infographics section and a responsive layout that works as well on a phone during a rain delay as it does on a desktop at home. That project needed speed, flexibility and a structure that could grow as the podcast grew. We chose the right tools for those goals. Every project gets the same consideration: we look at what you need to achieve and we pick the technology that gets you there. The tools serve the story, never the other way around.

What stays consistent is the standard. Every website we build works properly on every screen size, every device, every browser. Every website loads fast because we do not expect your visitors to wait. And every page, every section, every element exists because it earns its place.

We design and build the whole thing. Visual design, front-end development, content structure, SEO foundations, hosting and deployment. You get a complete website that is ready to do its job from the day it goes live.

A website is not a one-time deliverable. It is a living thing that grows with your business. We build with that in mind so when you need to add pages, update content or expand the site six months from now, the structure supports it without starting over.

Common questions

How do you decide which technology to use?

We start with your goals and choose the tools that best serve them. For high-performance, scalable sites we often work with Next.js and React. For businesses that need to manage their own content easily, WordPress is a strong choice. For e-commerce, Shopify works well. We recommend what fits your situation rather than defaulting to one approach for everything. The technology is there to help tell your story, so we always let the story lead.

How long does a website project take?

It depends on the scope. A focused single-page site can be live in four to six weeks. A larger multi-page site with custom features typically takes eight to twelve weeks. We give you a realistic timeline at the start based on what you actually need.

Do you handle hosting and ongoing maintenance?

Yes. We set up hosting, deployment and domain configuration as part of the project. After launch, we can provide ongoing maintenance and updates or hand everything over to your team if you prefer to manage it yourself.

Will my website be optimised for search engines?

Every website we build includes SEO foundations: proper metadata, semantic HTML, structured data, sitemap, fast load times and mobile responsiveness. These are not add-ons, they are part of how we build.

Do you design the brand and content as well?

If you need identity work to sit alongside the site, our graphic design service can run in parallel. For sites that need charts, dashboards or interactive graphics, our data visualisation service builds those bespoke.
